On 26th June, Betrimex organized a feast-day named "Giving organic fertilizer to build coconut typical farms according to Organic standards for farmers" in Ben Tre province, opening the series of events to offer organic fertilizer to farmers. With 7 communes in the area of Betrimex’s Organic Coconut material resources in Ben Tre and Tra Vinh provinces. The feast-day was attended by representatives of local authorities, representatives of Betrimex and the coconut farmers.
Accordingly, from 26th June to 12th July, 2019, Betrimex will coordinate with local authorities to give 138 (tons) of fertilizer to 342 typical households participating in this project "10,000 hectares of Organic coconut plantation for farmers”. The program not only helps people to reduce the burden of investment, access to quality organic fertilizer but also encourages the farmers’ spirit to continue taking good care of coconut trees, building typical Organic coconut gardens. These house farmers will be standard coconut gardens either in accordance with organic farming standards for the other farmers to consult and follow.
